A course of 4-6 treatments is often recommended, with enough time between appointments for your skin to recover. The number and spacing depend on your concerns, treatment intensity and response. We’ll recommend a plan after assessing your skin.

Redness, tenderness, mild swelling and dryness can occur for several days. Recovery varies with treatment intensity and your skin. Less common risks include infection, pigment changes and scarring; these are discussed before treatment.

Changes develop over the following weeks and months as the skin remodels. Some concerns need a series of treatments, and results vary from person to person.

Suitability requires an assessment. Active inflamed breakouts, infection, irritated skin and certain health conditions or medications may mean treatment needs to be delayed or an alternative considered.
