Facial Balance & Contours
An individual approach to your facial features.
Facial shape and proportions are unique to each person. You may have questions about changes over time, differences between sides, or the relationship between your cheeks, temples, chin and jawline.
Our Camberwell consultations provide time to explore your concerns, assess your facial anatomy and discuss suitable options.

Facial balance involves the relationship between features, rather than a single ideal shape. Natural asymmetry is common. We consider your face from different angles and discuss what you have noticed, without assuming that treatment is needed.

Areas we can discuss
Cheeks & Mid-Face
The cheeks contribute to facial shape and the relationship between the eyes and lower face. Their appearance reflects your underlying bone structure, soft tissues and skin.
We assess changes in fullness, contour or differences between sides alongside your overall facial proportions.
Chin & Side Profile
Chin shape and projection contribute to the appearance of the lower face, both from the front and in profile.
Your assessment explores proportions and symmetry. Concerns involving your bite or jaw structure may require dental or specialist assessment.
Temples
The temples sit between the outer forehead and upper cheek area. Their contour varies naturally, and some people notice hollowing or changes over time.
We consider this area in relation to your forehead, brows and cheeks. Its anatomy requires careful assessment.
Jawline & Lower Face
Jawline appearance is influenced by bone structure, soft tissues, skin firmness and the transition into the neck.
We discuss definition, asymmetry or changes you have noticed, and consider their possible causes before discussing suitable options.

Your Questions, Answered
-
Yes. Cheeks, temples, chin and jawline can be discussed during the same consultation. Assessing them together helps us understand their relationship and your concerns.
-
Not necessarily. Some asymmetry is normal. Your practitioner can assess what you have noticed and discuss whether intervention is appropriate. Sudden or unexplained changes should be medically assessed.
-
Treatment may be possible on the day, depending on your assessment, suitability and appointment availability. Any required prescribing consultation must be completed first, and we’ll discuss the proposed treatment, risks, aftercare and costs before you decide. You’re welcome to take time to consider your options—there’s no obligation to proceed.
-
Australian advertising rules restrict public promotion of prescription-only medicines, including pricing for cosmetic treatments involving these products. Costs also depend on your individual assessment and the treatment proposed.
During your consultation, we’ll explain suitable options and provide a personalised quote before you decide.
-
Results vary and cannot be guaranteed. Risks and recovery depend on the option considered; some procedures carry serious complications. Your practitioner will explain relevant risks, limitations and aftercare before you decide.
